Overview:

One of the biggest camel fairs in the world and the largest in India is the Pushkar Fair, also known as Pushkar Camel fair in Rajasthan. Every year, a 5-day cattle and camel fair is organized in Rajasthan. It's celebrated with a lot of vibrant festivities and draws many of visitors. The well-known Brahma-focused marble temple, located next to the revered Pushkar Lake, is an additional draw.

Dates: Usually held in October or November, the Pushkar Camel Fair falls on the same day as Kartik Purnima in the Hindu lunar calendar.

Major Attractions: 

1. Camel Trading: Farmers and sellers from all over Rajasthan come to the fair to buy and sell camels. It is well known for its camel trading activities. 

2. Culture: Folk music and dance performances, camel racing, and customary contests like mustache and turban tying are just a few of the cultural events that guests can take part in. 

3. Religious Significance: Because of the Pushkar Lake and the Brahma Temple, Pushkar is an important Hindu pilgrimage site. Pilgrims also participate in religious rites and holy lake bathing during the fair.
